Welcome Kit
As part of a welcoming New Staff orientation, the Welcome Kit is a collection of information that will be delivered to a new employee when s/he first meets with the Staff Training and Development Coordinator during the employee's 1st or 2nd week at the library.
In addition to reviewing Training and Development opportunities at the Library/University and answering any general questions the new employee might have, the Staff Training and Development Coordinator will also provide the new employee with a Welcome Kit which will assist with the transition to the University, the area, and the culture of Princeton.
Presently the Welcome Kit consists of the following information:
- Places for Coffee
- Restaurants (Affordable places for lunch and pointers to restaurant guides)
- Things To Do And Places to See
- Important University and Area Websites
Other ideas are always welcome and can be sent to Hannah Bennett (hbennett@princeton.edu) or Peter Green (pmgreen@princeton.edu), Co-chairs of the LETC.
